"Delmarva's Response to Climate Change"
Speaker: Mike Pretl
Mike Pretl will discuss strides taken here on Delmarva in recent years (and others not taken) on both adaptation to, and mitigation of, the harmful effects of climate change. He will present a hopeful message of how we as Delmarva residents, as citizens and also as consumers might contribute to prevent or to ease the worst impacts of a changing climate. He will describe the "great transition" underway today -- despite obstacles in Washington -- to help preserve our nation, our state and our remarkable peninsula for future generations.
